December 1999 News, Rumours and Random Thoughts

December 22, 1999

Biters, please get off my nuts.

If you're in my links section I'm definitely not talking about you, but there are other sites who've been ridin' my jocks since day one. It started off with half a dozen Foxy sites being created after I first published mine, which I didn't mind much, (even though I wouldn't have built this site if I knew that would happen), but then when I tried to innovate by creating "Lyric of The Day," and "Top Five," these too became 'appropriated' by other webmasters. So I did "Pic of The Week" and "Daily ?" and played it off, only to find out that cats were jacking that as well. It's shit like that that makes me wanna just quit, so that way there'll be nothing left of my site to bite. Also, I've got another tip for you: if you're going to steal graphics from my pages and claim them yours, at least change the filename. You should feel a LITTLE shame in posting pictures called "foxden.gif" or "gdawg.jpg" all over the place. Please, get a grip.

I changed the graphic and layout on the main page, I felt maybe it's time Foxy put on some clothes. The new pic is looking hotter than ever though. You can thank Princess for that.

I don't really have Foxy news for ya today, but I'm updating just to let you know I haven't gone anywhere. It's Christmas time, so don't be surprised if I fall off for just a little while though. Later.

People wanna know if the Firm is still together, because Foxy doesn't mention the group's name even once on Chyna Doll like she did non stop on Ill Na Na. Nas doesn't mention the Firm on neither I Am nor Nastradamus. AZ is without a record deal, Nature's album has been delayed (indefinitely?) and we never know what's up with Cormega. You can check the Blaze article about the Firm's status by clicking here. In my humble opinion, I'll say that the Firm is still together, but don't expect an album from them anytime soon.

In Foxy news, a new music Magazine,"Music Millionnaires," tabulated industry sales of all genres throughout 1999, confirming that Foxy outsold ALL femcees this year with a whopping 4.5 million in profits and sales. DMX and Method Man were pretty high up there too. According to the magazine, Hip Hop music was the best for business. Shout outs to Kayla and JR for that bit of info.

Something tells me that War On My Soul won't make it's April 18 release date. Think about it, we're only four months away and they haven't even started promoting it yet. Besides, look at all the other female rappers: Charli Baltimore's been bumped for a year and a half, Rah Digga's been pushed back like mad, Da Brat was supposed to be out two months ago, and Lil' Kim is seven months bootlegged and stale. The ones that actually are out now (like Missy, Eve and Solé) came out late too. I'm hearing that only three or four songs have actually been completed for Foxy's third album, but we'll see how it goes. She'll probably recycle the songs she cut from Chyna Doll, like the songs with Next, Janet, Ron Isley and Master P.

Foxy really knows how to rock the microphone. I put her duet with Cormega in the Jamz. I encourage you to download the LIVE version. It definitely makes up for the concert cancellation. Pay attention to how they handle the mic at the end, DJ Kool style. That's it that's all, later Dawgs.

Well, looks like the Brown Fox and the Bussa Bus cut their billing for the Y2K concert scheduled for...Y2K. Why? Beacuse of the Y2K bug, ironically. The concert's still going on though. Looks like my New York trip is cancelled (I couldn't handle the 8-hour drive anyway).

I'm getting mad laughs at these haters' sorry asses... One of them actually wanted to be humiliated in the Haterade. Twisted cats like that will only get my pity, I'll save you the embarassment. I updated that section, by the way.

December 17, 1999

'Sup Ill Na-Nites (my new name for fellow Foxy fans) The Haterade is hilarious today, I don't care what you Kim fans have to say about it. People say I diss Kim too much on my site, but c'mon, y'all know she has it coming. Don't forget, Foxy's the underdog right now. Kim isn't the one constantly getting trashed on by Hip Hop and the media in general. (click here) In fact, Kim is being glorified for no reason whatsoever. Like my nigga 2pac said, there's no mercy in war. Y'all wanna bring it, it's on. Thelma ain't hookin' up with Louise anytime soon, that's my word.

In the news, Kurupt is in the new XXL mag talking about his conspiracy theory of Foxy having an affair with DMX. Puh-lease! Make up your mind, dawg. First you dis, then you apologize, now you're dissing again. DMX is a married man. He and Foxy obviously assured otherwise.

In other news, mad props to Marcus for letting us know that Foxy's got a cameo in Biggie's Dead Wrong RMX video. They stuck in a clip from Total's "No One Else." That's all folks.

December 16, 1999

In the news, it turns out that yesterday's article was even phonier than a hoochie's hair, tits and eyes combined. Some sick and crazy Lil' Kim fan decided to take a cheap shot at half-assed journalism by spreading false news to various websites. Anyone who actually gets the NY times knows that there's no such story. I also listed the reasons as to why that article is fake on the messageboard, so check that out. You can even ignore anyone who claims they heard it, it's mostly the same two Kim fans frontin' under different names (check their IP addresses).

In other REAL news, Foxy donated 10 grand to the NYC Children's hospital---proving that she's neither broke, in debt, nor bankrupt--- and at the same time hooked up with Michael Jordan. All this was c/o an interview with Blaze. If there's an article, I hope she's well-represented, because Blaze is published by Vibe. If you didn't know, Vibe has been dissing Foxy in every way possible since a misunderstanding about her cover story last year.

I added the World Famous Firm Biz REMIX to the Jamz section, so give that a listen. I also added two more rare songs to the guest appearances of the discography. (shout outs to James). Peace people.

News Briefs....

Foxy attended Tyra Bank's party in NYC with her publicist. Props to Kevin for that news.

Foxy Brown was recently acclaimed first and favorite female rapper in London, England. She's still holdin' it down in Europe I see...

MTV (Music Television) continues to border on a defamation lawsuit or libel supena from Def Jam Music Group and/or Ill Na Na Entertainment. [click here] to hear the trouble they've been digging themselves into. That's my tentative "Wanna Stop Her Dough" mixtape intro, by the way.

This was emailed to me by a webmaster of one of the Kim sites, tell me what you make of it. I'm also a newswriter and I did find a few spelling and sentence structure stylistic errors, so I don't know if it's legit. If it is, it just goes to show that you shouldn't underestimate the power of Haterade...

New Jersey- Celebrities being stalked is nothing new, from Jodie Foster to Jayne Fonda, stars have been known to become a stalker's prime target if they're in the lime light. Ask risque harlot Lil' Kim, who earlier yesterday morning recieved a phone call from a concered neighbor who told her there was a person looking inside one of the windows on her New Jersey mansion. Police were called by another resident of the mansion (also called the Queen's Estate) only to find the peeping-tom was actually a drunken Foxy Brown. Foxy Brown, also known as Inga Marchand was in a drunken rage because of the recent publicity her overshadower, Lil Kim has been recieving from multitudinous publications. A spokesperson for Ms.Marchand took part in a small press conference in which he noted that the accused had been depressed because of not being percieved well by the Hip Hop audience lately and also because of some other personal problems including nearly going bankrupt which caused her to have many debts. Lil Kim has expressed that she will not press charges as long as Ms.Marchand agrees to stay away from her residence.

Updated the pics section with a hot one of Fox Boogie. Mad props to Princess for the ones she sent me!!

Down at my friend's house I saw that JD's R & B group Jagged Edge have a new music video out. I noticed that they used one of the exact same sets that Foxy Brown used in her video for "I Can't." I'm talking about that big bedroom with the closet full of clothes and all. In the Jagged Edge video you can't really tell at first that it's the same set, because they only show close ups of it every few seconds. But then they show it in detail, you see the whole bed, the big-ass plant that's near it, and one of the guys even go into the closet. It's a dead giveaway. Now get this--- here's the weird and ironic part-- the name of Jagged Edge's new video is called "He Can't." Think about that, that's really strange. Maybe they had the same director for the video or something.

Let's see, as far as the site is concerned, I hope you all downloaded that freestyle mp3, it is off the hook! Yo, Foxy should freestyle her whole album. Those lyrics are here. Also nice to see a few people have taken an interest in my mixtape. I'm actually working on production of the next one. Fox mix #2 is called "Wanna Stop Her Dough". The intro is an audio clip of MTV 1515 dissing Foxy, but then the announcer's last few words get cut off with the sharpness of a razor blade, by the first violin stroke of Na Na Be Like (uncensored), which comes next. It's gonna be phat y'all. there are also plenty of no-name artists dissing Foxy, there's Lil Kim, there's Femme Fatale, Daresyde and Strings all on the tape, and I'm setting it up so that they all sound like Mad-Rappers. Shit's gonna be even funnier than my Haterade.

Oh, by the way, since it's holiday season and all, I took the time to write a Holiday Message. I tried to make it as Foxy related as possible, so check it out. Anyone who hasn't signed the Guestbook better do so, remember it's also the mailing list. I just discovered a whole bunch of people who were regular visitors to my site, but like they were hidin'. Firmfiasco guy, holla @ me. Don't front, I know you're here often. I need your help.

December 12, 1999

Well, Foxy Brown signed Nicky$'s guestbook again. (Way to go Nick, tight site!) I'm wondering if she's even seen mine yet. I also removed those flames I spit yesterday. It's just unecessary, and I just resolved not to lower myself to the idiocy of dim-witted people who visit the site. For now, access the lyrics to that hot Firm Freestyle here. I'll find somewhere else to put it later.

December 11, 1999

The mp3 on my main page is one of the tracks on my mixtape that I decided to give away free in mp3. I think this is the song of the millennium. It's pretty old, but it's tight!! On the song, The Firm are having a little freestyle session among themselves and Nas and AZ just plain give up after Foxy's verse. So Foxy continues and does another, then they cheer her on again and she spits a few more lines. I think this is undeniable proof that Foxy CAN and DOES write her own shit, if she could beat both Nas and AZ in a freestyle. So haters bow down, fuck's her name, Nana!

December 8, 1999

This colossal update goes out to all the fly-ass honies out there, I see you on the messageboard! Hot mixtapes now available! Added a ton of Articles to the new section! Holy shit... who's the MAN! New Layout too...

Plenty news. Well, looks like we were misled. Foxy Brown is not in Europe right now. I don't know when she was (did anyone actually read Elle or In Style?) but mtv.com just reported that Foxy Brown was at the video shoot for Noreaga's "Blood Money Part 3" in Queens, New York City just last week. LL Cool J, Rev. Run of Run-DMC, Rah Digga, Screwball, Big Pun, the Beatnuts, Buju Banton and Cuban Link were all there too, but some of them (including Foxy) won't actually end up in the music video.

In other news, BET tv said that Foxy's gonna have a big year for 2000, Radio DJ Big Tigger talked about Foxy's third album and announced her concert performance... Buju Banton, Ricky Martin, and others will be there too. Big show to ring in the year 2G. Props to JR for that news.

And finally, Foxy Brown was on Queen Latifah's show Yesterday, confirming the end to their little beef. She performed Na Na Be Like, and was as usual, looking super fine. That's it for today, peace y'all.

December 5, 1999

What's happenin. A few things to mention, first off I gotta say I'm a bit skeptical to the rumoured Thelma & Louise track by Foxy Brown and Lil' Kim. Supposedly it's on a soundtrack to the movie "Let It Last." I'll be surprised to hear it, but I'm already getting the impression that not only does it exist, a few radio stations have been playing it! If it does exist, maybe it will help alleviate all the beef between the two, and it might bring some kind of compromise to the "Foxy vs Kim" war going on in the messageboard. Honestly I'm getting sick of the arguing, it's tired and isn't going anywhere.

In other news, y'all can tell me if Foxy and Kurupt are still together, I heard Kurupt was on the radio apologizing to everyone, but here's what it says about Kurupt in the December Source Magazine: Wire thin with dull eyes, his words slice razor sharp to match his randomly fierce temper; likely one of the reasons his relationship with ex-fiancée Foxy Brown fizzled. Kurupt chooses his words carefully when discussing Inga Marchand. He and Foxy have been seen verbally rumblin' in spots around the country but are officially no longer an item. Kurupt acknowledges his combative approach toward relationships is akin to the way he rhymes.

That's it that's all. I put some funny shit in the Haterade today. I might put more later.

December 4, 1999

Big news update for y'all today. First, I thought I'd clear up some rumours about the Firm that are on the board.
From October 1999 Blaze (Eve on the cover), p32: Who's in? Who's out? Who knows? It seems as if the Firm (Nas, Foxy Brown, AZ, Nature) are going through another lineup change. According to Cormega, Foxy asked him to join the same group he left back in 1996--a year before the release of their debut, The Album. "It don't really mean nothing to me," says Cormega, who was embroiled in a beef with Nas. "The important thing is that Nas and I are working together again."

In other news, y'all might wanna hear that according to radio broadcast journalist Jenny Johnson, Foxy Brown was chosen over Lil' Kim to perform with Busta Rhymes on Millennium's Eve. Rap Radio Station 93.9 reported that Lil Kim was quite upset about the concert promoters calling her to perform, only to call her back to tell her that she had been replaced. Mad props to JR for that brief peice of info. By the way, the concert takes place on Friday, December 31 at 9pm at the New York Coliseum, 59th St. & Columbus Circle, New York, NY. You can buy your tickets online at ticketmaster.com or tickets.com or by calling (212) 307-7171. There will be an encore concert performance on New Year's day as well, same place same time.

In the rumours arena there's speculation as to whether or not Jay-Z and Foxy Brown are still friends. I received a tracklisting of Jay's forthcoming album and did notice that for the first time, Foxy Brown is not featured on it. Hope they're still cool with each other.

Also, we don't know for sure if Foxy's on DJ Clue's new album, but we'll see. The release date has been bumped to sometime in late February.

That's all folks. Be sure to peep my new top five today. I also put another pic of Foxy and Kurupt in the pics section, and updated the Audio. Peace.

Chicks love to gossip "catch me in my crotch" shit like...

I'm hearing a load of rumors about Foxy and the Firm all over the messageboard and I honestly don't know what to believe, so I won't say anything just yet. What I DO know in terms of Foxy news is that according to the December Source (with the likka 5-foot broad on the cover), Foxy is no longer the only female on the Def Jam record label. 18-year old rapstress Lady Luck just got signed after winning a series of freestyle contests on Hot97. Apparently this girl is really really talented, been freestyling since she was five. She's on the Symphony 2000 EPMD track, maybe you've heard her. She comes from a family of lyrical geniuses, and even though her style differs from Foxy's I hope they hook up for some collabos now that they're label mates..
Let's see, what else have I got to say... I put my picture in the G-Dawg section for you people who were begging to see what I look like. Hope ya like what ya see. Later dawgs.

December 1, 1999

Allright. I fixed the audio that wasn't working and also added a new song.
Got some hot news/rumours for ya, courtesy of ERIC on the messageboard. He claims to have connections through Def Jam, sayin Foxy's newest song is called "Take That" and is supposedly a lot better than Na Na Be Like. It should be on her new album, which may actually be titled "Past, Present and Future" if not "War On My Soul". The song is not a dis to Lil' Kim, aside from a line that says she won't play childish games dissing rappers to sell records.
Another rumor is that Foxy is filming a video for Na Na Be Like, directed by some Englishman or something. It's s'posed to be weird and unlike any music video you've seen before.
In other news, it's still rumored that Foxy Brown is on DJ Clue's new album, "The Professional Part 2." Whether she is or not, the CD will be out earlier than scheduled. According to various sources including ads in the Source, DJ Clue's album will be out on December 28, along with Jay-Z's. That's it for today.
