Happy Halloween! Damn I want some candy, but I think I'm too old to trick or treat. I'll probably mug lil' kids for theirs tonight. So anyway, I kinda modified the homepage if you didn't notice. If things are working okay, you should hear the beat to "Sunshine" by Fox and Jigga when it loads. I'm still in the process of trying to figure out how to put streaming realaudio on the site. When I get around to it I'll post some rare songs. Also fixed the poll, there was an error in there that allowed you to make more than one choice.
Random Thought: Fox Haters. I'm sure you people who keep dissing Foxy are the same ones who keep buying her records. Inga must be laughing straight to the bank. Give me a break.
As for the news, bootleg copies of Nature's forthcoming album seem to be spreading all over the internet. Don't know the actual release date, but Foxy's gonna be on it, so that'll be cool. I thought those two might have had beef since Foxy didn't mention him in her "thanks" in the Chyna Doll insert. Speaking of the Firm, if I didn't mention it before, Cormega's back. He and Nas have apparently settled their differences according to the (old?) September issue of Blaze magazine. Cormega's a lyrical genius. Did you hear him on the Deep Blue Sea soundtrack? Definitely a highly underrated MC.

Anybody want it? Come see me, what....
I'm so proud of my site. Just look at it! And it hasn't even been up for a week! Like my new poll? If you have suggestions for the next one, email me or use the messageboard. I also put up my top five list of the week. That's something to look forward to every Wednesday.
Well, everyone keeps begging me for Foxy Brown pics. You know what? I don't think I'm gonna put up any. I'll change them on the front page and in the news now and then, but that'll be about it. I mean, you can find the same ones at any other Foxy site, so what's the point? I wanna be original. About the audio, I think I'll only put up the rare songs that are hard to find and stuff. Uploading Ill Na Na and Chyna Doll would take too long. Till I have the time, I might put up the discography. Another thing I wanted to mention is that I encourage people to use the message board to actually have discussions, so don't be afraid to talk about whatever you want as long as it's Foxy related.
Now onto Foxy News. Actually it's more of an editorial/opinion type thing. It seems to me that Foxy's spreading her own false rumours, if that makes sense. Let me explain. During her promo radio and magazine interviews last year, just before Chyna Doll was released, she was talking about all sorts of projects that just didn't happen. Remember the sitcom? Didn't happen. The Foxy Brown doll from Matel that says "Brown Inga, uh" when you pull the string? Didn't happen. The movies? Who knows. The songs with Next, Master P, Madonna and R. Kelly? Didn't happen. Foxy keeps making all these promises she can't keep! I ain't mad or anything, I'm just playin', but she can't tease her fans like that! It's crazy! Just thought I'd say that, cuz now with all her news circulating I don't know what to believe. Anyways I gotta go, catch ya later.

Fox Boogie has a full page in the new Right On mag as well as the new Ebony. Ebony put her first among a list of popular female rappers with a huge picture and describes her as the "reigning Queen of rap." They got that right! It also mentions her upcoming acting debut. I guess the rumors about that are true. I also heard that Samuel L. Jackson was gonna help produce or film a documentary based on Foxy's life story. Hope it develops.

Last week's MTV update:
Risqué rapper Foxy Brown took her endorsement of Calvin Klein even further this week by heading all the way to Macy's on New York's Herald Square for a live performance on Thursday.
Foxy, who has turned up in print ads for Calvin Klein Jeans, performed a mini-set at the department store, rolling out a clean version of her recent single, "Hot Spot," as well as family-friendly versions of "Ill Na Na" and "Big Bad Mama." After her performance, Foxy greeted fans and autographed copies of a limited edition T-shirt designed for the occasion.
The Foxy makeover at Macy's actually began last Thursday, October 14, when the store placed large shots of the rapper from the Calvin Klein print campaign in its storefront windows and piped Foxy's music into the street. The store plans to break down the Foxy display on Friday, October 22.

Okay, I have plenty to tell you so I hope you're satisfied with this for now! Foxy's in the new Word Up Magazine, she was last
month too, about changing her image and style, and her CK ads. She's also
in another magazine, what's it called... One World? with a brief caption
about how she's a fashion diva. Also, you may already know about Paper
Magazine's cover story on her and her modelling and acting career. I don't
think the magazine's on newstands anymore but I've got a copy. E-mail me
for more info.
I've heard about Foxy being in the new Charlie's Angel movie, and about her new album being called "War On My Soul" with a January release date. Believe it if you want to, but for some reason I don't expect an album or movie from Foxy anytime soon.
Looks like Foxy's getting promo from her new song, Na Na Be Like, on the Blue Streak Soundtrack. It's not even a single yet, and it's getting mad airplay on Hot97. As if you couldn't tell, the whole song is dissing her former high school friend Lil' Kim, with lines like "Lil' broad, five foot, talk big shit" and "You better keep pushin' ya shit back" among other references. Lil Kim's promo album has a song on it called "You Can't Win" that sort of retaliates. Kim basically talks about how Foxy's still trying to recoop off her first album, and talking about how much firmer her ass is than Foxy's, and just basically mouthing off like a fool. I prefer Foxy's song, it's easier to dance to and Foxy has a better flow. I love how she rhymes in Jamaican (Patois) too, because my parents are West-Indian and even I can't do it as good as she does.
It's really a shame that Kim and Fox couldn't let bygones be bygones. I really wanted to hear their planned duo album, "Thelma & Louise." Doesn't look like it'll happen, but could you imagine the impact that those two teaming up would have on Hip Hop? Some even say (or pray) that the beef is fake and just a reason for publicity and promotion, like what Canibus, LL Cool J and Wyclef did. But I doubt that, Foxy sounds pretty serious when she talks about Kim in her song "My Life" on Chyna Doll.
Random Thought: It's funny, Foxy said in an interview that 2pac was her favorite rapper, and everyone knows who Kim's is. I wonder if one of these two females are gonna get shot? Okay, so it's not funny.
Foxy is a single woman again, if you haven't heard. Sources tell me she's not mortal enemies with Kurupt or anything, it's just that things didn't work out and so they aren't getting married. Speaking of Kurupt, you may have heard he got shot at last weekend and his young bodyguard took the bullet. He's got a song dissing East Coast rappers, especially DMX. It's callled "Calling Out Names" and it's pretty dumb. They say DMX, a married man, tried making passes at Foxy, causing their break-up. The whole thing is kinda stupid, so I don't wanna talk about it.
Another rumour, this time about Foxy doing a remix to 702's groovin' song "You Don't Know." I'll believe that when I hear the song actually hit my radio airwaves.
Random Thought: Foxy hates every female rapper that's called "Queen." (Queen Pen, Queen Latifah, Queen Bee...)
Nino Brown, formerly known as Pretty Boy, also Foxy's brother, has a song with an R&B artist, (shit, I forget her name,) but the song does exist, I know this for a fact, cuz I heard it on the radio. By the way, at first I thought Nino Brown was a lame name but I found out it's actually from a character from the movie New Jack City, who made riches off the streets selling crack. So at least the name comes from somewhere, and it's not just a take on his sister's.
